20th song out. Phew! Over 20 years of playing music. And now, over 20 songs to show for it.
Bhool Jao is a song about a musician at the verge of giving up on his dream. Despite all the blood, sweat, years and tears, the "dream" has unfortunately given him nothing but sleepless nights and a despair-ridden heart. A part of him wants to finally let it go. But can he?
Even though I wrote the song with a "musician" in mind, it applies to anyone holding on to a dying dream, and clinging to the last thread of strength to save it. It's perhaps one of the most painful (yet beautiful) struggles anyone can endure. And while all aren't lucky enough to break on through to the other side, I'm glad I could write a song about it.
The original version of Bhool Jao (Heavy Rock) was released last year, and while I didn't expect it to go anywhere, it ended up earning me a lot of love. The song is now playing on TV channels, Radio stations, Malls, and of course - online.
Exalted by the appreciation it could gather, I decided to create an acoustic version of it. It's softer, but hits in a different way. Also, the guitar solo just wrenches the heart. (Why don't songs have guitar solos anymore?)
I play all the instruments on all my songs. This one just has two guitars and a bass. Easy. Haha! Loved every bit of it.
You can play it on Youtube.
Or listen to it on all streaming platforms: Link
Hope you love it, too! If you do, be sure to drop a comment. Ten years from now (if we both are still around), we'll look at the comment and feel a sweet breeze of nostalgia. Haha! Thank you so much. And cheers! :)

Incredibly thankful to all the patrons. Their contributions mean a lot.
