Raakh is a new track by Nishant Mittal. Being released under the label 'Jo Marzi Studios' (sponsored by The Testament), the song welcomes Nishant's longtime collaborator - Abhishek Pawar - on audio production and Rahul Sethi (from Jaza, Sahi) has made the lyrics video.
Raakh is available on this website, all streaming platforms and on Youtube (below).
"I wrote this song when I heard about the extraordinary forest fires in the US, back in 2019. I imagined how it must have been for animals who once called that incessantly burning paradise "home". Then I thought, it must have not been very different from how people felt when they lost their loved ones and livelihood during Covid. Raakh is about forest fires, both literally and metaphorically. The song is intense and extremely different from everything being played right now. I hope you can feel that."

Lyrics
